Social inequalities and acceptance of undemocratic leaders

The journal Psychological Science published artists on the consequences of social inequality and the need for strong leadership. The results of both experimental studies and a large survey conducted in a dozen or so countries signal that social inequalities reinforce the feeling that relations in our community are damaged and that we need a strong, even not particularly democratic, leader to rebuild them.
