PAR Migration Navigator. Socio-cultural and Psychological Predictors of Work-Life Balance and Gender Equality – Cross-Cultural Comparison of Polish and Norwegian Families

This non-commercial research project aimed to analyze processes unfolding at the crossroads of two cultures: Polish & Norwegian. In our research carried out between 2013-2016 we investigated how the similarities and differences between Polish and Norwegian societies influence the lives of individuals and couples who migrate between these two countries.

Psychological and environmental determinants of urban quality of life

The main concern of this project was urban quality of life. Components analyzed were walkability, place attachment, perceived neighborhood disorder and collective action tendency.

Towards Gender Harmony. Understanding Relationship Between Masculinity Threat and Gender Equality Across Cultures

This project investigated what masculinity is and what is its contemporary content among many different cultures. Using both correlational and experimental methodologies it also analyzed factors threating to male identity across nations differing in gender equity.
