The journal Psychological Science published artists on the consequences of social inequality and the need for strong leadership. The results of both experimental studies and a large survey conducted in a dozen or so countries signal that social inequalities reinforce the feeling that relations in our community are damaged and that we need a strong, even not particularly democratic, leader to rebuild them. The research was co-authored by Tomasz Besta.
